Rajan Dua
District Governor 2026-27
Rajan was born in the bustling metropolis of Mumbai in the year 1973. After an eventful and memorable college life he meritoriously completed his BSC degree. He pursued his passion for engineering and holds various technical qualifications.
He ventured into business quite early after completing his studies and joined his family business of fabrication of process equipment. During his 16-year association with RD Engineers, he won many laurels – his proudest of them was when his company was selected as one of the “Most Promising Exporters” by CBI Netherlands.
In 2013 he branched out to form his own venture which is into development of residential projects. He has a passion to build elegant & majestic apartments and is doing so through his various projects in Mumbai. He is also constructing uber luxury villas & apartments in Goa. In addition to his business, he is also an active stock market investor & trader.
He has been a committed and accomplished Rotarian for the past 24 years. He joined Rotary in 1999 and is currently the member of Rotary Club of Mumbai Millennials. Over the years he has had an opportunity to serve in various roles and has excelled in all his responsibilities. His contribution to the growth of Rotary by way of his work across avenues and by adding 52 members till date is both creditable and noteworthy.
Rotary has given him the ideal opportunity and the platform to integrate social service, care for the community and his attachment to the Armed Forces. His signature Project National Integration is a project that spans across years and is immense both in scale and vision.
He is also a Major Donor and recipient of the RI Vocational Service Leadership Award and RI Avenues of Service Award. He currently serves RI as the RI District Community Service Chair and RI District Rotaract Chair.
He holds a Guinness Record for the largest horse shoe in the world created at the Rotary Centennial Race in 2016 which was the biggest fund raiser for TRF. The record still stands in his name.
Rajan believes that being a Rotarian helps him meet people of high integrity and build lifelong friendships. For him, honesty, and truthfulness are core virtues on which he will never compromise on. He is truly a dynamic multi-tasker – balancing work, businesses, family and his duties as a Rotarian.
He is not only about work but also has hobbies which are very dear to him. He is an avid golfer and is very fond of travelling & scuba diving.
All these multi-tasking and leadership roles would not have been possible without the active participation and support of his loving family.
His wife, Preeti Dua, is also a passionate Rotarian. She is the Principal of Eurokids preschools in Thane. Their daughter Disha Dua is studying BArch at NYIT, New York. Their younger daughter Prericka Dua is currently studying at The Big Picture Next school.
